A collaboration between Artist @sofielayton who has been developing the cyanotype print medium for the past 5 years which included exhibiting work at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and Little Natures ltd.
An introduction into the magical world of cyanotype printing, a traditional photographic print process that uses UV light to create beautiful blueprints.
Using handmade Khadi Rag and Seed papers, artists can design their own images using , foraged natural treasures, dried flowers and foliage, seasonal Christmas symbols and materials such as, dried fruit, pine, and twigs. These can be intertwined with delicate up cycled materials gossamer ribbons, buttons and lace which will be on hand to use. Everything you need to create personalized artistic cyanotype prints.
“…Something borrowed, something blue” Guests are encouraged to bring a sentimental treasure to try out. Some items will translate during printing better than others. What's included in the price?
• 3 prints : choose to make greeting cards or A5 prints.
• paper is a handmade seeded or Khadi paper (size A5)
•your art will be carefully protected in recycled wrapping to transfer your creations safely home
• envelopes provided for greeting cards.
